Sam is an serial entrepreneur with experience in the Enterprise Software and Distribution space. In 2012, the global distributor Avnet acquired Sam’s latest venture Ascendant Technology to form a new division called Avnet Technology Services. In his role as Global Leader of Avnet Services’ Solutions business, Sam managed the enterprise software and services relationships with IBM, SAP, HP, and Oracle.
Sam has been a successful entrepreneur and executive for both privately held and public companies. A formidable negotiator, Sam has sold software technology to companies like IBM and had successful exits for each of the companies that he has founded. He is currently actively participating on the boards of Oculus360, Portland Software (New Zealand) and Certus Solutions (New Zealand).
